Job Description

We seek an Agricultural Inspector responsible for ensuring compliance with agricultural regulations and standards. The successful candidate will conduct inspections, assess risks, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance agricultural practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect agricultural sites to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Perform risk assessments in accordance with agricultural compliance regulations.
• Assist in drafting compliance-related policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and compliance activities.
• Engage with farmers and agricultural workers to communicate compliance requirements.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops focused on agricultural compliance.
• Liaise with local regulatory agencies to ensure alignment with governmental standards.
• Support the development of educational materials on compliance best practices.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving agricultural compliance strategies.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss compliance updates and concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Health or Agriculture
• A Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role within the agricultural sector

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in auditing and inspection techniques
• Familiarity with compliance management software

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Certification
• Environmental Compliance Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
