Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our Birmingham practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, as well as performing surgical procedures. You will play a crucial role in providing the highest standard of veterinary care to our patients, engaging with pet owners to ensure they understand their pets’ health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess animal health through examinations and tests.
  • Plan and perform surgical procedures safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff.
  • Advise pet owners on preventive care and nutrition.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and their pets.
  • Stay updated on veterinary practices and advancements.
  • Assist in training and mentoring veterinary technicians.
  • Participate in practice meetings and contribute to policies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary practice preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
