Warehouse Operative

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Southampton. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of our warehouse by receiving, storing, and distributing products. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure an optimal workflow and timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

• Handle product returns and exchanges efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
• Ensure all products are stored correctly according to regulations.
• Contribute to a team environment by sharing ideas for improvements.
• Assist in the implementation of new procedures for efficiency.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with daily operational tasks.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide excellent service to fellow team members and customers.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant warehouse experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Logistics Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certificate
• Forklift License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in logistics or supply chain roles: Experience in related fields can enhance operational efficiency.
• Understanding of stock control: Knowledge of stock management processes is preferred.
