We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations in Stevenage. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing vehicle fleets and a comprehensive understanding of maintenance procedures and compliance standards.

• Manage daily operations of the maintenance team.
• Schedule vehicle inspections and necessary repairs.
• Ensure effective stock management of parts and supplies.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the team.
• Engage with vendors and service providers for fleet requirements.
• Review and approve maintenance service contracts.
• Provide technical support to the maintenance staff.

• A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Fleet Management Software Proficient in using fleet management systems for scheduling and record-keeping.
• Vehicle Diagnostics Extensive experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Health & Safety Compliance Deep understanding of health and safety regulations in vehicle maintenance.
• Leadership Skilled in leading and motivating maintenance teams.
• Communication Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving Adept at diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
• IOSH Managing Safely
• English (Fluent)
