Responsibilities

• Safely operate and manage straddle carriers for efficient container handling.
• Perform thorough inspections of equipment before and after use.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate container storage and retrieval.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Monitor container stacking and ensure effective use of space.
• Assist in optimizing loading schedules to improve turnaround times.
• Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certifications or licenses will be advantageous.

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a logistics or port environment.

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Prior experience in a high-volume port environment: Experience managing multiple container movements simultaneously.
