Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Freight Forwarder to join our logistics team based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will handle all aspects of freight movement, ensuring compliance with regulations and that shipments are delivered efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations.
• Prepare quotations for clients and negotiate shipping rates.
• Plan and optimize logistics routes for efficiency.
• Supervise customs clearance processes and documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigating strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Keep abreast of market trends and developments in the logistics industry.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in International Business or Supply Chain Management
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain roles
