Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Upkeep Worker to join our team in Birmingham. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of our facilities. As an Upkeep Worker, you will assist in performing a variety of tasks that keep our premises in top shape, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general handyman duties.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize future issues.
• Perform landscaping and garden maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing clients' concerns.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Any additional qualifications in facilities management will be a plus.

Experience

• Experience in following health and safety guidelines is desirable.

Technical Skills

• Basic plumbing skills
