Construction Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Construction Engineer to manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. You will play a vital role in ensuring all aspects of the construction process are executed effectively and on time.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to support construction methods and materials selection.
• Ensure project documentation is complete and up to date.
• Assist in the training and development of junior engineering staff.
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure all work is completed to high standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry

• Structural Analysis
• Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Lean Construction Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
