Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backing-in Machine Tender to join our production team in Manchester. You will be responsible for operating a backing-in machine to apply protective materials to paper products. The ideal candidate will have experience in the printing or paper industry, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the backing-in machine prior to production runs.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment.
• Document and report any defects or operational anomalies.
• Assist in training new team members on machine operation and safety protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for machine servicing requirements.

Requirements

Education

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Backing-in Machine Tender or similar role in the printing or paper industry.
