We are currently seeking a proactive Fleet Coordinator to oversee our fleet operations in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle schedules, maintenance, and compliance while optimising costs and ensuring safety standards are upheld. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing our operational effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee fleet scheduling and optimise routing to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained according to manufacturer recommendations.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure fleet compliance.
  • Track and report on fuel usage and maintenance costs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings within fleet operations.
  • Engage with drivers to address operational challenges and facilitate communication.
  • Assist in the selection and procurement of new vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Relevant certification in fleet management is advantageous
  • Fleet Management Software Experience with various fleet management systems.
  • Cost Analysis Skilled in analysing and optimising fleet costs.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving Adept in identifying issues and implementing solutions.
  • Fleet Management Certification
  • Health & Safety Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Knowledge of telematics systems: Understanding of telematics technology to monitor vehicle performance.
  • Experience in vendor management: Proven ability to manage supplier relationships for fleet services.
