We're seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to enhance our outreach efforts in Bristol. In this role, you'll engage with diverse communities, coordinate activities, and formulate programmes that foster inclusivity and community spirit.
Responsibilities
Lead community needs assessments to identify key areas of focus.
Engage with a variety of community members to encourage active participation.
Monitor and evaluate outreach programmes for effectiveness and improvement.
Support the creation of marketing materials to promote events and resources.
Organise volunteer recruitment and training sessions.
Collaborate with local government to ensure alignment with community goals.
Respond to community inquiries and provide appropriate resources.
Develop presentations and materials for community meetings.
Create partnerships with local businesses to enhance outreach efforts.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Community Development, or a related field
Master's degree in a relevant area is advantageous
Experience
4+ years of hands-on outreach experience
