Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose injuries, illnesses, and diseases in animals.
• Administer treatments and provide preventative care.
• Communicate treatment plans and medical options to pet owners.
• Maintain high standards for animal care and welfare.
• Collaborate with colleagues on patient cases for better outcomes.
• Participate in emergency care and be on-call as needed.
• Engage in continuing education and training to enhance skills.
• Support the Practice Manager in operational tasks.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in training programs for veterinary students.
