Job Description
As a Teaching Assistant in Southampton, you will play a critical role in supporting teachers and helping students achieve their best. We're seeking a passionate individual eager to make a positive impact on the learning journey of our students.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with educators to foster an effective learning environment.
Provide one-on-one support to students in need.
Help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
Support the lead teacher in administrative duties.
Encourage students to engage actively in classroom discussions.
Assist in adapting learning materials to suit various learning styles.
Conduct assessments and record progress.
Foster independence in students by encouraging decision-making.
Assist in preparing and delivering educational workshops.
Engage in continuous professional development and training.
Requirements
Education
A-levels or equivalent in relevant subjects
Degree in Child Development or Psychology is preferred
Experience
Experience in supporting children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
