Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Climate Data Scientist to join our team in Wakefield. The successful candidate will analyse climate data to provide actionable insights that support environmental projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and preprocess climate data from various sources.

  • Contribute to publications and presentations at scientific conferences.
  • Design experiments to test climate science hypotheses.

  • Train staff on data analysis techniques and tools.

  • Monitor environmental policies and their effectiveness.
  • Lead or participate in field studies related to climate data collection.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in climate data analysis
