Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Soil Fertility Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing soil samples and developing tailored fertilisation plans, ensuring optimal soil and crop health.
Responsibilities
Execute comprehensive soil fertility assessments.
Implement effective nutrient management plans for diverse crop systems.
Lead workshops educating farmers on soil sustainability.
Collect and manage data on soil health metrics.
Advise on the usage of organic fertilisers and amendments.
Utilise GIS and data management software for soil tracking.
Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer needs.
Contribute to ongoing research projects related to soil fertility.
Maintain accurate records of soil analysis and recommendations.
Participate in industry conferences to expand knowledge and network.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Soil Science
PhD in Soil Science is advantageous
Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in agricultural research focused on soil fertility.
