We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Bristol. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud technologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. You will be key in streamlining our deployment processes, ensuring our infrastructure is robust and secure, and integrating the latest technologies into our workflows.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer and scale cloud environments across multiple platforms.
  • Improve automation scripts to increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the software lifecycle.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to ensure infrastructure health and security.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies for all critical systems.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing regarding DevOps practices within the organisation.
  • Support the development team by providing infrastructure resources.
  • Conduct regular system audits and security assessments.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • AWS Proficient in AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Docker Experience in containerizing applications using Docker.
  • Kubernetes Hands-on experience orchestrating containers with Kubernetes.
  • Linux Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
  • CI/CD Skilled in implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Team Collaboration Exceptional ability to work in team settings and foster collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving Strong critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with security best practices in the cloud.: Knowledge of essential security standards and protocols.
  • Skills in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.: Ability to write scripts for automation and management tasks.
