Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Director to lead our financial operations. This role encompasses managing a dedicated accounting team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's accounting functions and ensure strict adherence to laws and regulations.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Enhance current financial processes and implement best practices within the accounting team.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to manage regulatory compliance and audit processes.
  • Lead initiatives for financial improvement and monitor ongoing financial performance.
  • Guide the team through peaks in workload, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Develop relationships with senior finance professionals across the industry to benchmark best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible accounting/financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
