Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join our dedicated team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social care, providing support and intervention to individuals and families in need. This role involves collaborating with other professionals to deliver high-quality services and ensure the welfare of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations.
  • Facilitate support groups and workshops for clients and families.
  • Conduct follow-up visits and outcomes evaluations.
  • Collaborate with local agencies to enhance service delivery.
  • Assist clients in navigating various social service systems.
  • Encourage client participation in their own care and decision-making.
  • Participate in research and evaluation projects to improve services.
  • Advocate for policy changes that benefit vulnerable populations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work
  • Postgraduate qualification in Social Work is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in social work or similar roles
