Job Description

As a Logistics Manager in Bangor, you will be charged with leading the logistics team and implementing best practices to enhance our distribution efficiency. You'll collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that operational goals are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise supply chain operations, ensuring effective workflows.
  • Conduct analysis of logistics performance metrics to identify trends.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to forecast demand.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures for logistics operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with shipping and logistics providers.
  • Monitor and resolve transportation issues and discrepancies.
  • Conduct training sessions for new team members.
  • Evaluate and recommend logistics software and tools for effective operations.
  • Report on KPIs and overall logistics performance to senior management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or related discipline
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a logistics supervisory role
