Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Watford facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with excellent organisational and leadership skills. You will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient order fulfilment, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team to achieve daily operational goals.
• Ensure proper training and onboarding for new team members.
• Implement effective inventory management practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to enhance efficiency.
• Address and resolve issues regarding stock levels and order accuracy.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with strategic planning and execution.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant field such as Business Administration or Logistics is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics operations

Technical Skills

• Lean Management
• Forklift Operation

• Time Management

Certifications

• IOSH Managing Safely
• CILT Level 3 Certificate in Logistics and Transport

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Health and Safety regulations: Understanding of health and safety regulations in warehouse settings.
• Familiarity with lean warehouse management: Experience implementing lean management techniques.
