Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Gauger to join our team. The Gauger will be responsible for measuring and recording quantities of materials in tanks, vessels, or other containers using various gauging methods. This role is essential to ensure compliance and accuracy in material handling.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct precise measurements of materials using standard gauging equipment.
  • Document measurements and maintain accurate logs for tracking purposes.
  • Implement corrective actions for any discrepancies in measurement data.
  • Assist in training new team members on gauging processes and safety practices.
  • Develop and implement best practices for improved measurement accuracy.
  • Ensure all gauging operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Liaise with quality control to ensure adherence to measurement standards.
  • Take part in audits and reviews of measurement procedures.
  • Maintain an organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest gauging technologies and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Further qualifications in measurement or related field preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Gauger or in a similar role.
