Job Description

As a Clinical Pharmacist at HealthPlus Pharmacy in Brighton, you will ensure the optimal use of medication therapy, support patients in managing their health, and work collaboratively with healthcare teams to improve patient care. Your contributions will make a significant impact on our community's health.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and interpret medication orders from prescribers and provide recommendations.
  • Implement and evaluate clinical pharmacy services within the practice setting.
  • Advise patients on medication therapy management and side effects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and pharmacy standards.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
  • Document patient interactions and clinical outcomes effectively.
  • Support pharmacists in training and continuous education efforts.
  • Assist in the development of pharmacy protocols and guidelines.
  • Engage in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Participate in research and evaluation projects related to medication use.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Master's degree or Clinical Pharmacy qualification preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice
