Fleet Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Supervisor to oversee our fleet operations in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our fleet, managing logistics, maintenance, and personnel. This role requires strong leadership and organisational skills to drive performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fleet operations team to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure proper scheduling of vehicle inspections and repairs.
• Develop and maintain fleet operation policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and training for team members.
• Ensure effective communication with other departments regarding fleet needs.
• Measure and report on fuel consumption and strategies for efficiency.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service levels.
• Participate in the selection and procurement of new vehicles.
• Address and resolve any issues related to fleet operations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant professional qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• Experience managing a large fleet of vehicles preferred
