Job Description

As a Community Organization Worker at Community Connect Ltd., you will coordinate and support various community initiatives, working closely with local partners and stakeholders to foster positive change. You will engage with residents, addressing their needs and facilitating access to vital resources. This role requires a proactive approach to community engagement and a passion for enhancing lives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with local NGOs and government agencies to enhance community services.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of community improvement projects.
  • Conduct follow-ups with service users to monitor progress and satisfaction.
  • Develop educational materials and resources for community awareness.
  • Gather data and insights to inform community initiatives and decision-making.
  • Facilitate support groups and workshops for targeted demographics.
  • Engage in fundraising and community development activities.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and volunteers.
  • Promote inclusivity and diversity within community programs.
  • Document all activities and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Social Sciences or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in project coordination and management is a plus
