Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Counselor, you will provide critical support and guidance to individuals facing personal and social challenges. Your expertise will help clients develop and implement effective care plans tailored to their unique needs.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate client needs and develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
  • Deliver emotional support and guidance to individuals in recovery.
  • Coordinate with local service providers to facilitate client access to resources.
  • Document client progress and modify care plans as necessary.
  • Engage with family members to enhance client support networks.
  • Conduct workshops on life skills and coping mechanisms.
  • Participate in case reviews with healthcare professionals.
  • Advocate for policy changes that benefit client populations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive client information.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Master's degree preferred for senior roles
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
