We are searching for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Hastings. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the pharmacy operates smoothly while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include supporting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing health advice to patients.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Provide advice and information to patients regarding medications.
• Help manage inventory, ensuring that stock levels are optimal.
• Participate in patient care initiatives and health screenings.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Assist in the training of new staff members.
• Contribute to the pharmacy’s marketing and community outreach.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Pharmacy Assistant or related qualification
• Higher-level qualification preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in pharmacy assistance
