Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Wind Power Development Manager to lead and oversee the development of wind power projects from conception to completion. You will require in-depth knowledge of the wind energy industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects efficiently.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the rollout of wind energy projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and identify suitable locations for wind farms.
  • Lead discussions and negotiations with landowners and regulatory bodies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop technical plans.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Implement strategies for effective stakeholder communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare project documentation and progress reports for management.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and methods in wind energy.
  • Foster relationships with local communities and environmental groups.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Environmental Science
  • Project Management Extensive experience managing large-scale wind energy projects.
  • Negotiation Expertise in negotiating contracts and permits.
  • Regulatory Knowledge Proficient understanding of UK wind energy regulations.
  • Leadership Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Renewable Energy Professional (REP)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in securing project financing: Knowledge of financial models and funding sources for renewable projects.
  • Familiarity with GIS tools: Experience in using Geographic Information Systems for site analysis.
