Job Description

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, you will provide essential counselling and psychotherapy services. This role involves working with individuals, couples, and families to address a variety of mental health issues, while fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families addressing various mental health concerns.
  • Engage in treatment planning with clients to meet their specific needs and goals.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professional conduct in all interactions.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate mental health status and needs.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients regarding mental health and coping strategies.
  • Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Maintain current knowledge of mental health trends and treatment modalities.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer reviews.
  • Develop community outreach programs to promote available services.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Counselling or related field
  • Licensure in psychotherapy or counselling in the UK is required
Experience
  • Experience with diverse client populations is preferred
