Job Description

As a Hearing Aid Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing disorders, and recommending suitable hearing aids. Your role will involve providing personalized consultations and ongoing support to patients to ensure their needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed hearing evaluations and interpret results accurately.
• Select and fit hearing instruments, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.
• Guide patients through the process of acclimatisation to new devices.
• Document all interactions and treatment plans in electronic health records.
• Attend regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Organise and participate in workshops and health fairs to promote hearing health.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with patients, ensuring trust and satisfaction.
• Advise patients on the latest advancements and options available in hearing technology.
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Audiology or related field preferred.
• HAD certification required

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in hearing aid dispensing and patient care.
