Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Tester in Manchester, you will be integral to our software development process. Your primary focus will be to conduct thorough testing and ensure software quality meets our high standards, enabling us to deliver exceptional products to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and specifications to ensure testability.
• Execute functional, performance, and usability testing.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation on test results.
• Support the rollout of software applications and provide post-deployment testing.
• Mentor junior QA testers and support their professional development.
• Evaluate and suggest tools and technologies for testing and automation.
• Participate in regular project and QA team meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA with a focus on software testing methodologies

Technical Skills

• Test Automation
• Defect Tracking
• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with performance testing tools: Knowledge of tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
