Door Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Door Operator to ensure that all doors operate smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills to assist both visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect door systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with security training and emergency drills.
• Work closely with reception and security teams.
• Monitor systems for tampering or suspicious activities.
• Keep detailed logs of operational activities.
• Report any discrepancies to the management immediately.
• Support the onboarding of new staff in security procedures.
• Engage with visitors to provide a welcoming experience.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements.
• Assist with creating reports based on door operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in door operations or relevant security field.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of fire safety procedures
• Experience using CCTV and surveillance systems

Soft Skills

• Calm under pressure
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Valid Security License/Certification
• First Aid and CPR certification (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a security role: Having a background in security increases your suitability for this position.
• Experience with access control systems: Knowledge of door control systems contributes to effective job performance.
