Job Description

We are seeking a Telephone Operator to manage and direct incoming and outgoing calls through a PBX system. This role involves operating a switchboard and routing calls to the appropriate personnel while providing general information to callers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and route incoming and outgoing calls efficiently.
  • Provide assistance with conference calls and video meetings.
  • Help update and maintain the company directory.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for communication systems.
  • Contribute to a smooth communication flow between departments.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience operating a switchboard or PBX system preferred.

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
