Job Description

As a Library Systems Officer, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of library systems. Your role will focus on optimising library services and ensuring that users can access resources effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integration of library systems with existing services.
  • Conduct regular audits of library technologies and systems.
  • Lead training sessions for library staff on system functionalities.
  • Create and update documentation for library procedures and systems.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for system maintenance.
  • Evaluate new technologies to improve library services.
  • Engage with users to gather feedback and improve services.
  • Support digital initiatives to enhance users' access to resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Library Science or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in library systems management
