Job Description

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Machine Feeders and Offbearers to efficiently handle and move heavy slabs in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidates will ensure the safe and effective transport of materials, contributing to our production line's smooth operation.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate slab pulling machinery.
  • Move heavy slabs across various locations in the manufacturing unit.
  • Ensure slabs are stored and positioned correctly for processing.
  • Work with colleagues to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Keep the workspace tidy and comply with safety standards.
  • Conduct regular checks and maintenance on handling equipment.
  • Notify management of safety concerns or equipment failures.
  • Communicate effectively with the team about workflow and issues.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Requirements

Education
  • No formal qualifications required
  • Previous experience operating slab pulling equipment is a plus.
Experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Manual handling skills
