We are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical processes and experience in the development of chemical products. You will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring safety and compliance in all engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute research projects in chemical engineering.
• Collaborate with product development teams on new initiatives.
• Utilise simulation software to model processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction programs.
• Engage with suppliers to evaluate new materials and technologies.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts during process upsets.
• Ensure a thorough understanding of materials properties and behaviours.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• PhD in Chemical Engineering is a plus

• 5+ years in a relevant industry

• Certified Chemical Engineer
