Job Description

As a Staff Nuclear Weapons Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing nuclear weapons programs within our organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with stringent regulations while monitoring potential threats and implementing robust security protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate nuclear weapons management initiatives ensuring all operations align with safety and compliance standards.
  • Draft and update policies regarding nuclear weapons operations in line with current regulations.
  • Work closely with governmental departments to ensure strategic objectives are met.
  • Lead training sessions for staff on nuclear weapons protocols and safety measures.
  • Evaluate potential risks related to nuclear programs and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all nuclear weapons-related activities and inventory.
  • Benchmark nuclear safety practices against international standards.
  • Engage with international partners to participate in arms control discussions.
  • Provide analysis of data and trends related to nuclear weapons security.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Contribute to crisis management planning for nuclear incidents.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in nuclear weapons management or security compliance
