Job Description

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Your expertise will play a vital role in a collaborative healthcare team, working closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide the best care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed imaging examinations with a focus on accuracy.
• Educate patients on the imaging process to alleviate concerns.
• Coordinate with team members for efficient patient flow.
• Document and maintain imaging reports as per regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiography program
• Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Experience

• Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist is essential, preferably in a clinical setting.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of radiographic equipment and techniques
• Radiation safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., MRI, CT) are advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Proficiency in using advanced imaging software: Ability to effectively operate PACS and other imaging systems.
