The Shop Foreman will oversee daily operations in a bustling manufacturing shop. Responsible for managing a team of skilled workers, the foreman will ensure that all tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shop floor operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead daily briefings to set work priorities and goals.
• Collaborate with management to implement improvement initiatives.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure team adherence.
• Guide and mentor team members to boost morale and productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational qualification in manufacturing or production

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.

Technical Skills

• Lean Manufacturing

• Team Leadership

Advantageous

• Experience in Lean manufacturing methodologies: Knowledge of efficiency-enhancing practices in production.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards: Familiarity with international quality standard requirements.
• Experience with CNC machining: Hands-on experience with CNC machinery and processes.
