Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Swansea. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients with various mental health challenges, using evidence-based practices. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop tailored treatment plans and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations using standardized tests.
  • Develop and modify treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Liaise with community resources to support patient recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Advocate for patient needs in treatment planning and community resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy or equivalent)
  • HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
Experience
  • Demonstrated ability working with diverse populations is preferred
