We are seeking an Audiovisual Equipment Installer and Repairer to join our skilled team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining television broadcast equipment and systems, ensuring the effective functioning of all audiovisual technology.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair faults in a wide range of audiovisual equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks on broadcasting equipment.
• Install and configure audiovisual systems in various settings.
• Work in conjunction with production staff to ensure seamless live broadcasting.
• Maintain detailed logs of repairs and servicing activities.
• Keep abreast of the latest in broadcasting technology.
• Train staff on the proper use of audiovisual equipment.
• Comply with safety regulations while working with electrical systems.
• Track and manage spare parts inventory for quick access.
• Collaborate with suppliers to streamline repair processes.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in audiovisual equipment maintenance or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of television and broadcasting systems.
• Troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with video editing software
• Knowledge of IP networking
