Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Systems Coordinator to oversee and optimise our manufacturing processes in Burnley. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of production systems and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency using advanced technologies.
• Involve in the development and execution of project plans for production improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing environment.
• Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance employee skills.
• Estimate resource needs and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Create reports on production metrics and present to senior management.
• Support the operations team during audits and regulatory inspections.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Identify opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency gains.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Master's in Industrial Engineering preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing systems improvement roles
