Policy Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Policy Officer to join our team in Swindon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and compliance, with the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate policies to ensure our practices align with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the impact of new regulations on company policies and recommend necessary changes.
• Facilitate compliance training sessions for new hires and ongoing staff development.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify areas of risk and propose mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of compliance documentation for audits and evaluations.
• Conduct compliance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to established policies.
• Draft and maintain documentation regarding compliance processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with the legal team to address any compliance-related legal issues.
• Present compliance findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Collect and analyse compliance data to track trends and identify areas for improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and integrity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in regulatory affairs preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory policy
