Mica Splitter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mica Splitter to join our company. As a Mica Splitter, you will be responsible for splitting mica sheets into desired sizes and shapes for further processing. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measuring and cutting mica sheets to required dimensions.
• Following health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assisting in inventory control and supply management.
• Responding to immediate production needs as instructed.
• Providing support to other production roles as needed.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required

Experience

• Previous experience as a Mica Splitter or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a manufacturing or mining environment: Familiarity with industrial practices and procedures.

• Experience operating cutting machines and tools: Previous experience with industrial cutting equipment.
