Set-Up and Lay-Out Inspector

Job Description

The Set-Up and Lay-Out Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of product set-up and layout in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with production teams to ensure products are produced to the correct specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of product setups and layouts, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve any setup-related issues promptly.
• Record inspection results and develop reports to communicate findings to management.
• Engage in problem-solving to identify root causes of product quality discrepancies.
• Support quality audits and contribute to the development of improvement strategies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training or certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles: Knowledge of methodologies aimed at reducing waste and improving processes.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodology: Familiarity with practices to improve quality by identifying and removing causes of defects.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management standards: Understanding of quality management systems and their applications in manufacturing.
