Job Description

As a Naval Gunfire Liaison Officer, you'll play a critical role in coordinating communications between naval vessels and ground forces, ensuring effective fire support during combat scenarios. Your expertise will support tactical decision-making on the battlefield.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fire support requests and relay precise target information to naval vessels.
• Communicate with ground troops to gather necessary target data such as coordinates, enemy positions, and terrain information.
• Collaborate with the navigation team to ensure accurate positioning of naval vessels for effective firing.
• Provide real-time updates and adjustments to the firing plan based on changing battlefield conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and rules of engagement during firing operations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fire support activities.
• Conduct post-operation analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of firing missions and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Military Science, Marine Engineering or relevant experience

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in related military operations
