Job Description

We are searching for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will have a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, increasing product quality, and driving efficiency. You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine manufacturing methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and enhance current manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles across all levels of production.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on new procedures and technologies.
  • Coordinate with supply chain management to optimize material usage.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in projects aimed at improving production capabilities.
  • Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process improvement roles
