Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative Social Media Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. You will work closely with the marketing team to create content that resonates with our audience and drives traffic to our platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing content.
  • Engage with followers to foster a sense of community around the brand.
  • Track social media trends and competitor activity.
  • Provide proactive social media crisis management when necessary.
  • Organize and participate in promotional events and campaigns.
  • Schedule and publish posts across social media platforms.
  • Work closely with SEO specialists to increase website traffic.
  • Develop training sessions for staff on effective social media practices.
  • Manage budgets for social media campaigns and advertising efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or Media
  • Master's degree or further qualifications in marketing are beneficial.
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in managing social media accounts in a professional capacity
