We are seeking a skilled Cafeteria Operator to manage and oversee daily operations in our cafeteria. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth and efficient running of the cafeteria, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the cafeteria, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to encourage feedback and foster teamwork.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of food quality.
• Assist in the preparation of menus and manage food production.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve service.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct performance reviews regularly.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries of goods.
• Promote a positive work environment and maintain staff morale.
• Utilize kitchen management software for effective inventory tracking.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting for the cafeteria.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Food Safety and Hygiene certification

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in food service or cafeteria operations
