Job Description

As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will take charge of operating and maintaining embroidery machines to create high-quality embroidered products. Your work will directly impact the aesthetic quality of the fabric, ensuring that every piece meets our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare embroidery machines for upcoming projects, ensuring optimal settings for diverse fabrics.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on all finished products to uphold standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any machine malfunctions to minimise downtime.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and maintenance procedures.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Maintain records of machine performance and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with the design team to adjust designs based on customer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workspace.
• Maintain effective communication regarding production timelines and challenges.
• Regularly update inventory records for all production supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Previous experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator or similar role
• Knowledge of embroidery techniques and materials

Experience

• Proven track record of producing high-quality embroidered products.
