We are looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programmes. The ideal candidate will promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive safety training programmes tailored to organizational needs.
• Conduct training evaluations and adjust programmes based on feedback.
• Engage employees through interactive training sessions that foster learning.
• Assist in the investigation of safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with health and safety regulators to ensure compliance.
• Maintain training records and generate reports on training effectiveness.
• Consult with department heads on safety-related initiatives and concerns.
• Lead workshops and safety drills to reinforce training.
• Implement new training technologies to enhance learning experiences.
• Support the continuous development of the team's health and safety strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• Further qualifications in health & safety training preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in occupational health and safety

Technical Skills

• E-learning Development

Certifications

• IOSH Managing Safely
• NEBOSH National General Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
